Lemon Squares

CRUST:
1 c. flour
1 stick butter
1/4 c. powdered sugar

TOP LAYER:
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp. FRESH lemon juice
2 Tbsp. flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 pan.

CRUST:
Cut in crust ingredients until it is a crumbly paste. Press into the prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

TOP LAYER:
Mix all ingredients with a fork. Pour baked crust. Return to oven for 20 minutes.

When cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
