5-7 large tart apples
3/4 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1 t. cinnamon
1/8 t. salt
1/4 t. nutmeg
Pare, core, and slice apples. Add sugar mixed with flour, pices.
Fill 9" pastry pan. Dot with butter.
Bake 450 10 minutes; then 350 for 40 minutes.
Note: If apples aren't tart, add 1 T. lemon juice
