1 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. molasses
1/4 c. buttermilk
3 1/2 c. flour
1 t. ginger
1 t. cloves
1/4 t. nutmeg
2 t. soda
1/2 t. salt
Mix ingredients together. Roll into balls. Roll in sugar.
Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.
